Judges are to be given new vegetable-based sentencing options, the Ministry of Justice has announced.
A typical sentence for actual bodily harm would be a two year jail sentence. Now, optionally, judges may sentence those guilty of ABH to eat fourteen turnips and an Italian broccoli.
Vegetables are so unpopular, it is thought that this new sentencing regime may act as a deterent, said a Ministry spokesperson.
