Social valuation at all-time high

The world's premier social newtwork SocialNonsense has been valued at over $7 prior to its floatation.

SocialNonsense has found a unique niche by targeting users who are newts rather than human beings, said Princely Summ, Director of the Social Foundation of Largs. Their strategy of targeting amphibians will really pay off if the earth floods.

But the social newtwork's plans for floatation have been misunderstood, according to its Head of Slime Strategy, Graas E Knoll. People have become confused, he said. They think we intend to float on the New York Stock Exchange but, in fact, it contains very little water. Therefore we plan to float in New York Harbour where water is plentiful and floating is rather easier.

Duck for president bid fails

A last minute third-candidate bid for US President from Daffy Duck failed when it emerged he was born in Kenya. Ridicule is the burden of genius, Mr Duck commented.
